Are you a visionary Nursery Manager looking to launch a brand-new setting? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to take the helm of a newly opened day nursery in London SE15. This is an exciting opportunity to build your own team, establish high-quality pedagogical practices, and drive the success of a fresh facility from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Setting Leadership
Take full responsibility for the daily management, sustainability, and growth of the new nursery.
Team Building
Lead the recruitment and induction of a high-performing team of practitioners and support staff.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure the highest standards of EYFS delivery and maintain full compliance with Ofsted regulations.
Business Management
Manage budgets, maintain high occupancy levels, and oversee the administrative functions of the setting.
Community Engagement
Build strong partnerships with parents and local community stakeholders to establish the nursery’s brand.
Requirements (Essential)
Qualification
Minimum Level 3 Childcare Qualification (Level 5, Degree, or EYTS/QTS is highly preferred).
Experience
Proven track record as a Nursery Manager or a very experienced Deputy Manager in a large setting.
Ofsted Knowledge
Comprehensive understanding of the Inspection Framework and Safeguarding requirements.
Skills
Strong business acumen, excellent communication, and a passion for early years excellence.
