What you’ll do as a Supervisor

You’ll be entrusted to

  • Lead, motivate, and supervise colleagues to ensure services meet contract standards.
  • Champion health and safety, following HSE policies, recording incidents in ASSURE, and completing follow-up actions.
  • Conduct performance checks and monitor service delivery to maintain compliance.
  • Support colleague development through training and effective day-to-day leadership.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant legislation such as Health and Safety, Employment, Environmental, and Transport requirements.
  • Plan for seasonal or unexpected service needs and allocate resources effectively.

  • Experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor, ideally supporting a blue-collar workforce.
  • Strong communication and people skills, with confidence motivating and guiding colleagues.
  • A clean UK driving licence.
  • Good understanding of health and safety responsibilities.
  • IT literacy, comfortable using Microsoft Office.
  • IOSH Managing Safely and/or an HGV Class 2 licence (both desirable but not essential).

Vetting and checks

A Standard DBS check will be carried out for this position. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands, and warnings as permitted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. An Occupational Health Questionnaire will also be completed so we can ensure you have the necessary support to perform your duties.
