SEN Teacher - Small Group Provision (ASAP Start)

A thriving three‑form‑entry primary school in Mile End is seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join their inclusive, well‑resourced SEND provision. The school is known for its strong community ethos, excellent behaviour culture and a highly supportive leadership team who champion staff wellbeing, training and consistent SEND practice.
You will be part of a collaborative SEN team, working closely with the SENCO and a dedicated group of skilled Teaching Assistants. The provision supports pupils with a range of needs including ASD, SEMH, ADHD and MLD, with a focus on personalised learning, emotional regulation and structured routines.
About the Role
- Teaching a small class of fewer than 6 learners
- Delivering adapted lessons, targeted interventions and personalised learning plans
- Supporting pupils who may integrate back into mainstream classes when appropriate
- Working closely with the SENCO, therapists and TAs to ensure consistent, high‑quality provision
- Creating a calm, structured and nurturing learning environment
- Maintaining clear records, progress notes and safeguarding standards
Requirements
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
- Proven SEN teaching experience (ASD/SEMH/ADHD/MLD)
- Confident with small‑group teaching and personalised learning
- Available to start ASAP
