The Role

This is a hands-on clinical role within a progressive environment, where nurses are encouraged to fully utilise their skillset and play an active role in delivering outstanding patient care.

Key responsibilities include

  • Delivering high standards of clinical nursing care
  • Monitoring anaesthesia and supporting surgical procedures
  • Running and supporting nurse consults
  • Assisting with diagnostics including sample collection
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records and protocols
  • Supporting infection control and clinical hygiene standards
  • Providing excellent client communication and education
  • Assisting with stock control and day-to-day clinical operations

Hours & Work Pattern

  • Full-time position
  • Flexible rota patterns available for working hours
  • Fair share of weekend rota

About You

  • RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse
  • Experience in general practice nursing
  • Confident in anaesthesia monitoring and surgical support
  • Experience or interest in nurse consults
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Proactive, organised and adaptable approach
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional patient care
