Consultant | West London NHS Trust

About this role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to provide clinical and strategic leadership within the North Hammersmith and Fulham Mental Health Integrated Network Team (MINT). You will work in a transformed, PCN‑aligned community service, leading a well‑established MDT to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care for adults with severe and enduring mental health needs. The role offers a balanced 10 PA job plan with strong support from medical, psychology and MDT colleagues, and excellent opportunities for teaching, supervision, quality improvement and research within a progressive and values‑driven Trust.

The post holder will provide consultant input to the North MINT caseload, offering senior assessments, diagnostic formulation and risk management, including Mental Health Act work and CTO reviews, and supporting the team’s duty function. You will give clinical leadership to MDT and referral meetings, provide timely advice to GPs and Primary Care Networks, and promote smooth transitions with other local services. You will supervise junior doctors, contribute to teaching for the wider team and primary care, lead or participate in audit and quality improvement, take part in the consultant on‑call rota, and engage fully in CPD, appraisal and job planning processes.
