We are seeking an Event Liaison Assistant Manager to support the Events Manager in delivering a seamless, high‑quality client and event experience within a prestigious corporate banking environment.
The role acts as a key liaison between the client, internal stakeholders and the events coordination team, ensuring consistent service delivery, operational excellence and strong people leadership.
Job Description
We are looking for a professional, client‑focused individual who will take responsibility for the day‑to‑day management and development of a team of Client & Events Coordinators.
The postholder will ensure all meetings and events are planned and delivered to the highest professional standards and in line with contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for key client stakeholders, building strong, professional relationships.
Support the Events Manager in planning and delivering meetings, events and high‑profile client activity.
Ensure all meetings and events are fully briefed, planned and delivered to agreed standards.
Oversee day‑to‑day operations, including visitor management and telephony services.
Lead, coach and develop the Client & Events Coordinator team, including scheduling, performance management and training.
Maintain and keep onsite Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs up to date).
Provide a high‑quality welcome and client experience, both in person and through other communication channels.
Proactively troubleshoot issues and manage escalations, resolving them professionally and efficiently.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Previous experience in a client‑facing corporate, hospitality or events environment.
Proven people management experience with an approachable and supportive leadership style.
Experience supporting or delivering professional meetings and events.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly customer‑focused with a proactive, solutions‑driven mindset.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Passionate about delivering outstanding client experiences, with strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills.
