About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Room Leader / Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a well-established and welcoming nursery in E9, East London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident early years professional ready to take the next step in their career, leading a room and supporting a team to deliver outstanding childcare and education.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a room, ensuring high standards of care and education
• Deliver the EYFS curriculum through engaging and age-appropriate activities
• Support children’s learning, development, and school readiness
• Supervise and mentor junior staff members
• Maintain accurate observations, assessments, and learning records
• Ensure full compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and Ofsted standards
• Build strong relationships with parents and careers

Requirements

• Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (CACHE/NVQ or equivalent)
• Previous experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• A proactive and positive approach to teamwork
