About this role
Are you looking for an opportunity to build on your experience as a Senior Family Therapist or step up to such a role? If so, we have a great opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Systemic Family Psychotherapist who has passion for CAMHS and innovative ways of working and who wishes to develop leadership and management skills.
This post is an integral part of the service with varied and exciting opportunities. You will be part of the Family Mental Health Team (FMHT), a CAMHS provision within the Child and Family Unit at NLFT. You will offer clinical and line management supervision for junior members of staff including qualified Systemic Family Therapists (SFT), Systemic Family Practitioner (Recruit to Train) Traineeand MA SFT students on placement with FMHT. You will have a leadership role in the systemic discipline in the team and oversee the allocations of systemic family therapy cases to M6 (MA in SFT) clinics in the Family Mental Health Team.
You will be offering consultation to colleagues and network.
You will attend referrals meetings and provide support to junior clinicians with intake work.
You will provide direct clinical input to children, young people and their parents/carers. As a senior clinician you will be providing services to clients presenting with a high level of risk and complexity in a multi-agency environment.
As one of the senior members of the team, you will work alongside other senior staff and contribute to the team’s development, as we continue to strive to be an accessible, responsive and innovative service with patient care and patient experience at its heart. There will be a number of opportunities to develop your leadership and strategic skills with support from senior colleagues.
