Job Summary
The successful candidate will provide high-quality person-centered care, promote dignity and independence, and support the client’s daily living needs in a private home environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support with mobility and safe moving/handling where required
Provide companionship and emotional support
Support with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration monitoring
Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
Accompany the client to appointments or short outings when required
Monitor wellbeing and report changes in condition to family or relevant professionals
Maintain confidentiality and respect the client’s privacy at all times
Essential Requirements
Previous experience in care work, preferably supporting clients with dementia
Good understanding of person-centered care and safeguarding
Compassionate, patient, and dependable nature
Good spoken and written English
Right to work in the UK
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
