We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Manager to oversee the delivery of safe, compliant and high-quality cleaning services across a high-profile site.​

You will lead teams and supply partners to ensure services are delivered on time, to budget and in line with contract expectations, maintaining exceptional attention to detail at all times.

Job Description

We are looking for a confident operations leader who can build strong working relationships with building users, customers and ISS support teams.​

You will take full accountability for service delivery, operational performance and the development of your cleaning teams while supporting a best-in-class customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organise and control operational resources to deliver consistently high cleaning standards.

Ensure routine, periodic and planned cleaning services meet contract specifications.

Maintain audit-ready standards across all buildings and oversee reactive and specialist works.

Ensure services comply with KPIs, SLAs, Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality standards.

Manage labour deployment, workforce planning, consumables and stock inventories.

Build strong stakeholder relationships, acting as the escalation point for service issues.

Lead, support and develop Cleaning Supervisors and frontline teams, promoting a “One Team” culture.

Drive continuous improvement, innovation and service excellence across the cleaning operation.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Proven experience managing large cleaning teams within FM or service-provider environments.

Experience working within public sector or high-profile settings (desirable).

Confident managing multiple stakeholders and time-sensitive operational demands.

Demonstrated experience in workforce planning, budget management and cost control.

Strong understanding of compliance, audits, risk assessments and service metrics.

Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills.

High attention to detail with a calm, solutions-focused approach.
