Estates Supervisor [Electrical Bias]
A permanent vacancy has arisen within the Estates & Facilities Directorate for an experienced and motivated Estates Supervisor to join Barts Health NHS Trust. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong electrical background who are looking to advance their careers within a highly specialised and supportive hospital environment.
Working within the St Bartholomew’s Estate, you will oversee daily estate operations, ensuring that the hospital’s infrastructure supports the world-class care provided throughout the site.
Your responsibilities shall include
- Leading and supervising a multidisciplinary estates team to ensure high standards of maintenance and repair.
- Supervising the compliance with Health and Safety regulations, including Fire Safety and Water Hygiene.
· Ensure all work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with relevant regulations and Health & Safety guidance.
- Fostering a culture of excellence, providing the training and support your team needs to succeed.
· Support minor installation works across the retained estate.
· Supervision of testing, inspection and statutory compliance activities (e.g., pressure systems, water hygiene tasks).
Work as part of a highly skilled multi‑disciplinary engineering team who value collaboration and professional growth
