Wraparound Care Manager

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Wraparound Care Manager to lead our breakfast club, after school provision, and holiday camps based in SE10. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure outstanding care standards, and build strong relationships with children, families, and staff.

You will also take on the important responsibility of acting as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), ensuring safeguarding policies and procedures are upheld at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the daily running of breakfast club, after school club, and holiday camps

Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), maintaining the highest standards of child protection

Manage, support, and develop a team of childcare staff

Build positive, professional relationships with parents and carers and school leadership

Plan and oversee engaging, age-appropriate activities for children aged 4–11

Ensure compliance with Ofsted requirements and safeguarding regulations

Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children

Handle administrative duties including registers, staffing rotas, and reporting

Requirements

Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in Childcare (essential)

Extensive experience working with children aged 4–11 in a childcare or education setting

Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role

Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures

Experience acting as, or readiness to train as, a DSL

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

A genuine passion for supporting children’s development and wellbeing

Significant experience working with children with SEND

Experienced in behaviour management
