SEN Outreach Tutor - New Way Tuition Ltd

New Way Tuition Ltd is seeking dedicated SEN Outreach Tutors to support children and young people who are currently not accessing mainstream education.

You will provide 1

1 or small group support to students with SEN, SEMH, and additional learning needs from EYFS to Year 11.

You will deliver tailored sessions in

• English
• Maths
• PSHE
• Mentoring and engagement support

Sessions take place in homes, libraries, or schools, depending on individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver personalised learning sessions
• Support students with a range of SEN and behavioural needs
• Build positive relationships with learners and families
• Keep basic session notes/progress reports
• Maintain safeguarding and professional standards

Requirements

Essential

• Experience working with children or young people
• Experience supporting SEN and/or SEMH
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
• Able to travel locally and work independently

Desirable

• Experience as a TA, LSA, HLTA, mentor, youth worker, or unqualified tutor
• Experience in alternative provision or 1:1 settings
