Holding a Good Ofsted rating, our client is now looking for an experienced and driven Nursery Manager to lead this exceptional setting, build on its strong foundations, and take it to the next level.

What Our Client Is Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification or above - essential
  • Proven experience as a Nursery Manager role within an early years setting
  • A strong, demonstrable track record with Ofsted - essential
  • Confident leading inspections and maintaining inspection-ready standards day to day
  • Sound knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and early years legislation
  • A warm, motivating leadership style with the ability to bring a team together around a shared vision
  • Strong organisational and business management skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Taking overall responsibility for the leadership, management, and day-to-day running of the nursery
  • Leading and inspiring a dedicated team to deliver outstanding early years care and education
  • Driving the nursery's Ofsted readiness, maintaining high standards and preparing confidently for inspection
  • Overseeing EYFS delivery, ensuring free-flow practice and age-appropriate provision is embedded throughout
  • Managing budgets, occupancy, staffing, and resources effectively
  • Building strong, positive relationships with children, families, staff, and the wider community
  • Supporting the professional development of the team through coaching, mentoring, and training
  • Ensuring full compliance with Ofsted requirements, safeguarding legislation, and nursery policies
