Imaging services have grown at SBH and we now operate over7 day a week between the hours of 08:00 to 20:00. We shall soon start to provide CT and MRI services at the Smithfield Wing too. We are looking for 2 Band 3 Imaging Reception/Schedulers to join our A&C team within the General Imaging department at St Bartholomew’s Hospital.

The role involves performing varied administrative tasks, from inputting patient information, processing referrals for scans, speaking to patients, dealing with enquiries and booking appointments, managing our Reception desks within KGV and Smithfield Wing to filing or scanning documents using CRS and RISe systems.

The successful candidates will need to be proactive, flexible and reliable team players who can manage a varied workload to meet demanding targets and changing deadlines. They must be able to work within a multi-disciplinary confidential environment and adhere to Information Governance procedures. Computer literacy is essential as the incumbent will be expected to input and extract information from a number of booking and patient tracking systems. Full training for CRS and RISe will be provided on the job.

Opportunity for Cross-site cover for other imaging teams within CSD will also be available (so cross modality training will be given for VUS, Nuc Med and Breast teams as needed/appropriate). It is essential to have a strong administrative background with good organisational skills. The successful candidates will need to actively demonstrate our WeCare Values and behaviours.
