About this role
We are delighted to have received local funding for an exciting new project which combines counselling with practical in-home support. The successful candidate will work with People with Hoarding Behaviour (PwHB) in their home, who have been referred by the local authority into our new program.
On a weekly basis you will attend the property and offer person-centred support as a partner to the PwHB, with the main goal of freeing up space, building back their wellbeing and creating a habitable environment.
Hours
A minimum of half a day (4 hours) each week, as PAYE or self-employed.
Salary
20 pounds per hour
Qualifications, competencies and experience
Proven experience in mental health and/ or hoarding
An empathetic persona with strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain trust with vulnerable adults.
Self-motivated, tenacious and able to overcome obstacle
