About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and passionate SEND Teacher to join a high-achieving, 3-form entry primary school in Hounslow.
From September 2026, the school will be launching a brand-new KS2 SEND unit, and you will play a key role in shaping this provision from the outset.
This is a unique chance to work within a mainstream setting while delivering targeted support for pupils with additional needs, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons for KS2 pupils with SEND
- Assess and track pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
- Create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment
- Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCO, and the leadership team
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
- Experience working with SEND pupils (highly desirable)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A patient, adaptable, and child-centred approach
