About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and passionate SEND Teacher to join a high-achieving, 3-form entry primary school in Hounslow.

From September 2026, the school will be launching a brand-new KS2 SEND unit, and you will play a key role in shaping this provision from the outset.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons for KS2 pupils with SEND
• Assess and track pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly
• Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
• Create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment
• Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCO, and the leadership team
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Right to work in the UK
• Experience working with SEND pupils (highly desirable)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A patient, adaptable, and child-centred approach
