About this role
Action Staffing Ltd is looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to lead a thriving childcare setting. This is a senior leadership position for a professional dedicated to maintaining high-quality Early Years education and fostering a nurturing environment for both children and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Oversee daily operations, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
Ofsted & Compliance
Maintain "Inspection Ready" standards by upholding all statutory requirements and EYFS guidelines.
Staff Management
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Early Years Practitioners, managing recruitment and professional growth.
Parental Partnership
Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with parents and the local Bromley community.
Safeguarding
Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and ensure all health and safety policies are strictly enforced.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications
Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (Level 5 or a Degree in Early Years is highly desirable).
Experience
Proven experience in a Nursery Management or Deputy Manager role within a UK setting.
Knowledge
Deep understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and current Ofsted frameworks.
Location
Ideally based in or able to commute easily to Bromley, Hayes, Shortlands, or surrounding areas.
