About this role
Orchard House Nursery is an Ofsted-registered setting with 32 places for children aged 3 months to 5 years. As a small, close-knit nursery, we provide a personal and nurturing approach to childcare and believe in ‘learning through play'.
As our apprentice you will be;
Planning fun and engaging activities
Writing and uploading observations
Setting up rooms and play sessions
Be a key person to a group of children
Cleaning and tiding rooms maintaining safety at all times
Working alongside colleagues

They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes
- Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
- Functional skills in Maths and English if required
This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.
