A lovely family based in Islington is seeking a warm, energetic, and highly organised After-school Nanny to care for their two children. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for children, great energy, and the flexibility to support the family’s weekly routine. Responsibilities include all general nanny duties such as school pick-ups and drop-offs, preparing meals and snacks, engaging the children in educational and recreational activities, and supporting homework and daily routines. The family is looking for someone dependable, proactive, and child-focused who can integrate seamlessly into their household and provide a nurturing, structured, and fun environment. Strong common sense, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with ease are essential. A valid first-aid qualification is required for this position.
Working hours
Monday
4:30 pm to 6:00 pm
Tuesday & Wednesday
5:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Thursday
5:00 pm to 9:00 pm
One weekend evening
6:00 pm to 10:00 pm/11:00 pm
Duties include
School pick-ups and taking the children to after-school activities, playdates, and appointments
Bathing and supporting good hygiene routines
Engaging the children in play, learning activities, and outdoor outings (e.g., park visits)
Bedtime routine
Helping with homework and supporting educational development
Keeping children’s bedrooms and play areas tidy and organised
Managing children’s laundry and wardrobe organisation
Light meal preparation as most food is pre-prepared weekly
