An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Central Middlesex Hospital Enhanced Care Unit as a clinical house keeper. The successful candidate will join our team providing excellent care to our patients in Critical Care.

With the patient at the centre of everything we do, we are looking for an enthusiastic and confident , experienced and articulate person, who is able under supervision, to provide the highest standard of organisational skills in the Ward, regarding stores, maintenance, cleanliness and general housekeeping. You will need to be able to prioritise, work under pressure and have good communication skills, both written and verbal.

The role may also involve undertaking audits, valuable in achieving trust targets to promote and maintain good infection control outcomes for patients and the ward environment.

As part of your role, you will need to work closely with the procurement services to maintain and resource stock and new items required to maintain a safe ward. Being a member of staff in Enhanced Care means treating everyone with respect.

  • To provide cleaning and catering services as part of a team, to office , patient and communal areas within Enhanced Care/Critical Care / the Trust.
  • To interact compassionately with patients and carers at all times. Patients have a range of mental health conditions or learning disabilities.
  • To show commitment and to participate in quality improvement activities.
  • To promote at all times a positive image of people with mental health conditions and learning disabilities.
  • To promote at all times a positive image of Hotel Services and the wider Trust.
