Are you a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant with SEND experience?

We are working with a Primary School based in the borough of Southwark, seeking an experienced TA with SEND experience.

The school focuses on creating a supportive and inclusive environment where pupils develop academically as well as socially and emotionally.

Job Responsibilities

Provide 1

1 and small group support to pupils with SEND

• Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom activities
• Support pupils in achieving their EHCP targets
• Implement behaviour management strategies consistently
• Encourage independence and promote positive learning behaviours
• Support pupils' social and emotional development

Qualifications/Experience

• Previous experience working as a SEND Teaching Assistant or within a SEND setting
• A strong understanding of supporting pupils with additional needs
• Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
• Right to work in the UK
