Programme Manager for capital projects will provide leadership for the strategic

development of RFLPS’s customer sites (both internal and external customers) taking

authority and responsibility for the management, co-ordination and delivery of the Trust

Capital Programme ensuring business development and occupier criteria are met in line with

agreed time, cost and quality objectives whilst minimising impact of projects on trust income,

patient experience and operational activity.

The role will provide expert advice, and support to the Deputy Director of Capital Planning &

Delivery, Director of Capital Planning & Delivery, customers’ senior Executives, Divisional

Directors, and clinicians in the strategic development and delivery of the Capital plan in line

with agreed project and Trust governing objectives so as to achieve long term best value for

the benefit of patients, staff and clinical service.

This post will require the postholder to develop & implement policy relating to the planning

& physical environment in which clinical services are provided & comment on other clinical &

nonclinical policies. Furthermore,the post holder will be responsible for the smooth, efficient

and timely operation of the wider capital programme team.
