The Role

As a Graduate Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students across a range of subjects, helping to raise attainment and build confidence in the classroom.

Your responsibilities will include

Providing targeted 1

1 and small group support to students across KS3 and KS4.

  • Assisting pupils with their learning, helping to improve understanding and engagement.
  • Supporting classroom teachers in delivering effective lessons.
  • Helping students develop confidence, independence, and positive learning habits.
  • Working collaboratively with teaching staff and the SEN department.
  • Contributing to a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

This role provides valuable, hands-on experience within a secondary school setting and is ideal preparation for teacher training or a career in education.

Person Specification

We are looking for graduates who

Hold a 2

1 degree or above in any subject.

  • Have a genuine interest in education and supporting young people.
  • Are proactive, professional, and enthusiastic.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Are keen to gain classroom experience ahead of a potential teaching career.
  • Have prior experience working with young people (desirable but not essential).
