Stock Person - Part Time - SCARBOROUGH - YO11 2ED

We are seeking an organized, efficient, and reliable Team Member to manage our morning stock deliveries and contribute towards restaurant maintenance.

This is a physical, fast-paced role centered around our core delivery mornings, making it ideal for someone proactive who enjoys practical, hands-on work, takes pride in organization, and doesn't mind early mornings!

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Intake & Management

Accept stock deliveries directly at the tailgate of the lorry, safely transport them into the restaurant, and efficiently put them away in the designated chiller, freezer, and stock room.

Inventory & Accuracy

Take ownership of delivery accuracy, verifying that everything received matches the order.

Stock Rotation & Care

Maintain strict stock rotation (FIFO) to ensure freshness, minimize waste, and keep all storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

Facilities Maintenance

Perform basic equipment maintenance tasks, light painting or varnishing, and general light cleaning duties, like maintaining our small exterior alleyway area and regular jet washing.

Teamwork & Communication

You will work closely as part of a two-person delivery team, collaborating directly with the opening manager. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to ensure the morning runs smoothly and efficiently.

Availability

Regular availability between 06:00 and 14:00 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays or Sundays. As this is a PART TIMR role, availability on at least TWO of the listed days is a MUST.

Physical Capability

Highly capable and comfortable with fast-paced, heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks (unloading from a lorry tailgate and managing frozen/chilled environments).

Skills & Attributes

High attention to detail regarding safety, cleanliness, and delivery accuracy. A productive work ethic and good communication skills are essential. Basic DIY skills are highly beneficial, but not mandatory.
