We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated experienced registered nurse to join the Complex Spinal Nursing Team and deliver great care to our patients. This post is an excellent opportunity to develop specialist nursing skills in the care of patients with complex spinal needs.

Our Complex Spine service provides comprehensive patient care from initial referral, to discharge from the service. The specialist nursing team are pivotal in delivering this service, working closely with the complex spinal surgeons and other members of our expert multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be expected to work autonomously and collaboratively within the complex spinal nursing team and within a detailed clinical governance framework. The team continually develops and reviews the service in line with evolving research and practice.
The successful applicant must be passionate about this patient group, highly motivated and enthusiastic about teaching all grades of staff. The candidate must be an outstanding communicator, can demonstrate first-rate organisational and multitasking skills and the ability to prioritise effectively and efficiently in a busy and fast paced work environment. The successful applicant will demonstrate an ability to support, train, develop and educate others as a member of the Complex Spinal Nursing team. The successful individual will have a pivotal role in delivering Trust Objectives as well as objectives for this service ensuring that the care delivered reflects the Trust Vision and Values.
