SEN Teaching Assistant

Rikama Education Ltd. are working with a fantastic SEMH provision in Eltham who are looking for a SEND TA to start immediately on a full time, long term to permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be supporting a secondary aged male student with SEMH difficulties. The school are looking for someone who is able to build positive relationships with students, has a calm and resilient approach and has ideally had experience of supporting students with EHCPs previously.

Successful candidates will

• have supported students with SEMH difficulties or challenging behaviour
• use calming and positive behaviour techniques
• build trust and rapport with students
• model respectful and positive communication and behaviour
• be resilient

have a background in education settings, youth clubs, residential care, social work
