Trainee Licensed Asbestos Operatives

We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Trainee Licensed Asbestos Operatives, based out of our Wakefield office. This is an excellent opportunity to begin a specialist career within the asbestos removal industry. No prior asbestos experience is required — all training, qualifications, and support will be provided by the company. You will be working alongside experienced Operatives and Supervisors across a variety of domestic and commercial sites throughout Yorkshire and occasionally the North East.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the safe removal of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) under

supervision.

• Prepare and secure work areas, including helping set up enclosures and

decontamination units.

• Support the implementation of dust suppression techniques.
• Carry out basic decontamination procedures for tools and equipment.
• Learn and adhere to site-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements
• Maintain accurate records as required.
• Work effectively as part of a team to ensure projects run smoothly and safely.

Pay & Progression

Starting rate

£16.00 per hour.

•

Fully trained rate

£18.00 per hour.

• All training, certification, and medicals required for licensed asbestos removal will

be fully funded by the company.
