Action Staffing is recruiting for a Preschool Lead Practitioner to join a forward-thinking nursery in Lambeth. This is a unique opportunity for an educator who loves nature, as you will lead on outdoor learning and help develop the nursery's Garden Project.

Key Responsibilities
Room Leadership
Lead the Preschool room with confidence, modeling high-quality practice and ensuring the EYFS curriculum is delivered creatively.
Outdoor Learning
Champion the nursery’s Garden Project, planning engaging outdoor activities that encourage exploration and physical development.
Montessori Approach
Implement Montessori-inspired teaching methods to foster independence and curiosity in children.
Team Mentoring
Support, train, and inspire your team of practitioners, ensuring high standards of care and education.
Parent Partnership
Build strong, collaborative relationships with parents and the local community to support every child’s learning journey.
Requirements
Qualification
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (Essential).
Desirable
EYTS, QTS, Montessori Diploma, or Forest School training is a huge bonus.
Experience
Proven experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner within a Preschool setting.
Passion
A genuine love for Outdoor Learning and leading creative projects.
Benefits
Excellent Salary
£28,000 – £30,000 per annum (Dependent on experience).
Flexibility
Option for Term-Time Only (Pro-rata salary) or Full-Time.
