Are you an experienced Room Leader looking to step up, or an existing Deputy Manager seeking a new challenge in a lovely West London setting?
Action Staffing is recruiting for a Deputy Nursery Manager to join a vibrant and welcoming nursery located at St Peter's Church, Acton Green (W4).
Situated right on the border of Chiswick and Acton, this nursery offers a fantastic community feel. We are looking for a strong leader who can support the Manager in running the setting while modeling excellent practice in the rooms.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Support
Assist the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery, including staff deployment, rotas, and opening/closing duties.
Team Leadership
Inspire and mentor the staff team, ensuring high standards of care and education are maintained at all times.
Curriculum Delivery
Oversee the delivery of the EYFS, ensuring observations, assessments, and planning are of a high quality.
Parent Partnership
Build strong, trusting relationships with families in the local Acton Green community.
Compliance
Support with Ofsted readiness, Safeguarding, and Health & Safety checks.
Requirements
Qualification
Minimum Level 3 Early Years Qualification (Level 4/5 or Degree desirable).
Experience
Proven experience as a Senior Practitioner, Room Leader, or Deputy Manager.
Knowledge
Strong understanding of the EYFS, Safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements.
Leadership
A positive, proactive, and "can-do" attitude.
