Key Responsibilities

Ensure effective financial management, reporting, and planning

Maintain robust internal financial controls and ensure compliance with relevant regulations

Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit control functions

Provide accurate financial analysis to support strategic decision-making

Manage and supervise the finance function and related staff

Role Requirements

The Financial Accounts Manager is a skilled and managerial position with responsibility for maintaining financial integrity and operational oversight.

Duties include

Ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records

Overseeing accounting systems, processes, and reporting functions

Ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards and relevant legislation

Exercising decision-making authority and operational accountability within the finance function

Qualifications & Experience

Professional qualification such as ACCA, IFA, CA, or a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance

Minimum of 3–4 years’ relevant experience in a finance or accounting role

Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, TaxCalc, Sage, or other recognised accounting systems
