Specialty Doctor

Provide daytoday medical management for patients in the Inpatient Unit, including admissions, ward rounds, clinical meetings and MDT collaboration. Ensure highquality, contemporaneous clinical documentation using SystmOne. Assess and manage the palliative needs of patients and support the emotional and psychological needs of their families and carers. Complete medical examiner referrals, coroner referrals and MCCDs. Support Wellbeing Centre, outpatient and community patients as required. Provide crosscover for colleagues during leave. Liaise effectively with Primary and Secondary Care teams to ensure continuity of care. Contribute to the training and supervision of junior doctors, medical students and other learners. Participate in clinical governance, audit, research and quality improvement. Maintain CPD and meet GMC revalidation requirements.
