Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist

To be professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of own professional activities in line with the standards of the Hospital, department, Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). To have overall accountability for the planning and management of a complex caseload including but not limited to neuro rehabilitation patients with complex neurological deficits. To utilise specialist level clinical reasoning to assess and treat: Patients with acquired stroke, and other common neurological conditions To provide goal-oriented neuro rehabilitation, promoting functional independence and long-term recovery. To demonstrate a strong understanding of clinical governance, particularly within neuro rehabilitation settings. Responsible for managing own time effectively Complies with HCPC, CSP codes of ethics and professional conduct, national guidelines and hospital policies and procedures.
