About this role

We are seeking a reliable and detail‑focusedBand 4 Production / Pharmacy Technicianto join our Pharmacy Chemotherapy Production team. We would also consider applications from staff who are qualifying / registering soon on a progressional basis.

This is ahands‑on operational rolesupporting the preparation, documentation, stock management and supply of pharmaceutical products, working strictly in accordance withGood Manufacturing Practice (GMP), SOPs and Trust policies.

This post requires sustained concentration, accuracy and the ability to work effectively in acleanroom production environment.

  • Willingness to workfor prolonged periods in cleanrooms, wearing specialist PPE.
  • Basic IT skills and ability to complete accurate documentation
  • Flexible attitude to working hours, sites and rotas.
  • Prepare pharmaceutical products within cleanroom suites under supervision, following SOPs and GMP
  • Complete, check and maintain production documentation, worksheets and

labels accurately.

  • Perform in‑process checks and promptly report errors, deviations or unusual occurrences
  • Support stock management including ordering, receipt, rotation, expiry monitoring and issuing.
  • Ensure cleaning of production and storage areas meets GMP and departmental standards
  • Use pharmacy computer systems for production tracking, documentation and stock control
  • Support supervision and day to day guidance of pharmacy assistants andtrainees as required.
  • Assist with audits, KPIs and quality improvement activities
