About the Role

As an Art Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will assist in delivering engaging art lessons, provide one-to-one and small group support, and help nurture students’ creativity and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of Art lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Assist students with practical work across a range of mediums (painting, drawing, sculpture, digital art)
  • Provide targeted support to pupils who require additional help
  • Help prepare materials, maintain the art studio, and support exhibitions
  • Encourage creativity, participation, and positive behaviour in lessons

What We’re Looking For

A 2

1 or above in an Art or Creative-related degree

  • A genuine passion for education and the arts
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, enthusiastic, and adaptable attitude
  • Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
