Primary School Teacher – Full-time, long-term supply starting September 2026
These long-term supply opportunities are ideal for Primary School Teachers who are looking for consistency while still enjoying the flexibility of supply work. You will be supporting pupils across different primary school settings, delivering high-quality teaching while providing continuity and stability from the start of the academic year.
Duties as Primary School Teacher
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the primary curriculum
- Plan, prepare, and adapt learning activities to meet the needs of all pupils
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
- Assess and record pupil progress where required
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider staff teams
- Contribute positively to wider school life during the long-term placement
Ideal Primary School Teacher
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching within EYFS, KS1, or KS2
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to deliver consistent, high-quality teaching in a long-term role
- Adaptable and professional approach across different school settings
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
