Peritoneal Dialysis Nurse – Community & Outpatient Unit
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Peritoneal Dialysis Nurse to join our expanding team. This unique role offers the opportunity to work both in the community and the CAPD outpatient unit, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals managing Peritoneal Dialysis as a home-based therapy.
To have responsibility for the following aspects of care and management
· The post holder has delegated continuing responsibility for the management of the clinical areas in the CAPD unit.
· They will provide clinical leadership to the nursing team in the absence of the Unit Manager.
· They will lead the nursing team in the provision of safe and effective clinical practice and enhance the patient’s experience.
· The post holder will ensure continuity, sharing of ideas and the settings of standards of care.
· Information and feedback will be shared to empower patients and members of the multidisciplinary team.
· The post holder must possess fundamental management and facilitation skill in order to coordinate and supervise the activity/management of the staff, promote multidisciplinary working and foster a supportive learning environment in the absence of the manager.
