About this role

Everest Recruitment and Services Ltd is currently recruiting Science Teachers for ongoing opportunities across secondary schools and academies throughout London.

We are seeking qualified and motivated teachers specialising in Science to support schools with daily supply, short-term cover, and longer-term teaching assignments across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 settings.

The successful candidates will deliver engaging lessons, maintain effective classroom management, and support pupils in achieving positive educational outcomes within professional school environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering Science lessons in line with curriculum requirements
  • Supporting pupil engagement and academic progress
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively
  • Preparing and delivering high-quality learning activities
  • Following safeguarding and school procedures
  • Working collaboratively with teaching and leadership teams

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Previous UK secondary teaching experience preferred
  • Strong subject knowledge within Science
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Enhanced DBS preferred
  • Right to Work in the UK required
