Greenwich Waldorf School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Higher Level Teaching Assistant with HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful, happy school which treasures its historic buildings and traditions. Greenwich Waldorf School is located alongside the green spaces of Greenwich and Blackheath in South East London. We are an independent school with a dynamic, progressive and contemporary Waldorf curriculum for pupils aged 3-18.

Job SummaryTo support and, where appropriate, lead learning activities in a way that is developmentally appropriate, relationship-led, and aligned with Waldorf pedagogy, ensuring continuity of learning, strong pastoral care, and inclusive provision.
The HLTA will deliver teacher-planned learning, support pupils’ academic and emotional development, and contribute to a safe, calm, and purposeful school environment. Although the HLTA may deliver lessons to whole classes, this is not a teaching role. The HLTA works within the direction of the class teachers, using their planning and does not hold responsibility for curriculum design or overall class outcomes.
