About this role

SEN Primary Outreach Tutor

Location

Barking and Dagenham

Prospero Teaching is seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Primary Outreach

Tutor to deliver bespoke 1

1 educational support to primary-aged pupils who are currently not accessing mainstream education.

This role involves planning and delivering tailored learning programmes designed to re‑engage pupils, address gaps in learning, and rebuild confidence. Most pupils will have Special Educational Needs and may have been out of education for an extended period, so patience, adaptability, and a nurturing approach are essential.

This position is ideal for a qualified teacher or tutor who is looking to step away from the classroom environment and focus on personalised, rewarding teaching that makes a direct impact on a child's educational journey.

Prospero Teaching will work closely with you to monitor pupil progress and provide ongoing support to ensure positive outcomes.
