SEN Science Teacher - Enfield - September Start - QTS Required - Full Time

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate SEN Science Teacher to join a specialist school based in Enfield from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated teacher who is committed to supporting students with additional needs and delivering engaging Science lessons within a structured and supportive environment.

The Role

You will be teaching Science to students with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties. The school is looking for a teacher who can adapt lessons to meet individual needs while maintaining strong classroom engagement and behaviour management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS2, KS3 and KS4
  • Differentiate lessons to support varying abilities and learning needs
  • Support students both academically and emotionally
  • Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work closely with SENCOs, support staff, and external professionals
  • Track progress and contribute towards EHCP targets and reviews

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Experience working within SEN settings or supporting students with additional needs
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Passion for Science and inclusive education
  • Patient, resilient, and adaptable approach

The Role Offers
