SEN Teacher - About the role/school
We are recruiting a SEN Teacher for a highly inclusive primary school in Hackney from September. This SEN Teacher role is based within a specialist provision supporting pupils with ASD, SEMH and additional learning needs.
The SEN Teacher will join a strong and supportive team with excellent leadership and a clear focus on inclusion. This SEN Teacher role is ideal for a teacher with SEN experience who is confident delivering differentiated learning and supporting complex needs.
As a SEN Teacher, you will work in a well-structured environment with access to strong pastoral and SEN support systems.
SEN Teacher - Job Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons as a SEN Teacher
- Support pupils with EHCP targets as a SEN Teacher
- Work with support staff and external agencies as a SEN Teacher
- Implement behaviour strategies and track progress as a SEN Teacher
Qualifications/Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Experience as a SEN Teacher or strong SEN background
- Knowledge of ASD, SEMH, or complex needs as a SEN Teacher
- Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
- Right to work in the UK
