In regards to location, this is a peripatetic role covering, The Salvation Army, Territorial Headquarters, 1 Champion Park, London, SE5 8FJ where travel will be required alongside working from home as required, to fulfil the duties of this role.

Working hours

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and committed individual to join The Salvation Army Debt Advice Team. We are looking to recruit a Debt Advisor Caseworker to support the increasing number of people seeking advice from our Central service.The successful candidate will be accountable to the Quality Manager and Coordinator. You will need to be able to attend departmental meetings and training as required.

Key Responsibilities

Supported by The Salvation Army’s national Financial Inclusion Development and Quality managers, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a debt caseload of clients and supporting clients in finding a debt solution whilst providing financial capability sessions.
