The post-holder is responsible for ensuring all administrative support activities are carried out efficiently and effectively for the Driver Services Business Services team, with a strong service focus that contributes to the effective delivery of Operations frontline services.

The postholder will provide an efficient and professional service to the driver service directorate.

Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to

  • Manage the Operations mailboxes, ensuring requests are triaged, escalated, and monitored as required.
  • Act as secretariat for key meetings and networks across Operations, drafting agendas, arranging guest attendance, taking action points, and assigning these to responsible owners.
  • Extract and share information pertaining to driver services risks with internal stakeholders as requested.
  • Support the running of driver services events, identifying suitable venues, and assisting with the running of events on the day.
  • Contribute to the development of robust business cases by obtaining relevant information on costs, performance, MI etc.
  • Work in collaboration with colleagues across all functions for the good of DVSA and to create a high performing and well-respected Agency.
