We are seeking dynamic, motivated, and compassionate individuals to join our Cancer Physiotherapy Team. We are delighted to offer two exciting opportunitiesfor experienced Personal Trainers or Band 3/4 Rehabilitation Instructors who are eager to expand their expertise in the growing field of cancer rehabilitation:
- OurPrehabilitation Team, supporting patients to prepare physically and psychologically ahead of cancer treatment.
- OurPhysical Activity and Exercise Team, focusing on rehabilitation, and long-term health and wellbeing.
In these roles, you will play a vital part in supporting patients through the delivery of tailored exercise interventions. The role offers a varied and rewarding workload, empowering patients to improve their strength, function, and quality of life.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop specialist skills, contribute to meaningful change, and make a real difference in patients’ lives. While previous experience working with people affected by cancer is desirable, a genuine passion and commitment to this field are equally valued.

- Deliver safe and effective exercise and physical activity sessions for people with cancer, including one-to-one and group formats, either in person, by phone, or online.
- Support patients at all stages of their cancer pathway - before, during, and after treatment.
- Provide personalised advice and support to help patients become more active, using motivational interviewing and agreed goals.
- Develop and manage individual care plans, including assessment, goal setting, identifying barriers, and arranging referrals where needed.
- Manage your own caseload and deliver tailored exercise programmes using a well-equipped gym environment.
- Promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles as part of cancer care.
- Contribute to team projects, service development, and ongoing training.
