We’re looking for an experienced Plumbing & Heating Manager to lead the Plumbing & Heating department at our Ladbroke Grove

branch. This is a hands-on role in a busy merchant environment, where product knowledge, customer relationships, and commercial

awareness all matter.

You’ll be joining a supportive branch team within Lords Builders Merchants, with the opportunity to make a real impact and grow

your career as part of a successful and expanding group.

What you’ll be doing

* Leading the day-to-day running of the Plumbing & Heating department

* Building strong relationships with existing and prospective customers

* Driving sales growth through excellent service and product knowledge

* Managing stock levels, ordering, and product availability

* Providing expert advice across plumbing and heating products and solutions

* Working with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and availability

* Ensuring the department operates safely and in line with company standards

* Supporting and motivating the wider branch team

What we’re looking for

* Previous experience in plumbing sales within a merchanting environment (essential)

* Supervisory or management experience

* Strong knowledge of plumbing and heating products and systems

* A commercial mindset with a customer-focused approach

* Confidence working in a fast-paced branch environment

* Experience with stock control and department management

* A positive, team-focused attitude

* Eligibility to work in the UK

7am-5pm Mon-Fri, 7am-12pm alternate Saturdays
