GP Assistant

We are seeking a GP Assistant for the role of Care Navigator within our practice. The role will involve working closely with our administrative team to support daily triage of incoming patient calls and requests, with potential for later involvement in chronic disease clinics. The role will involve significant patient interaction as first point of contact in the patient triage process. The successful candidate will be comfortable working to practice protocols and guidelines developed by the senior clinical team to ensure efficient and timely responses to patient needs.Candidates must be fluent in English, computer literate, and have a basic medical understanding, which, in combination with our practice policies and pathways and our professional support, will enable them to effectively triage patient contacts and requests for appropriate clinical actions or signposting. The role will require physical presence in the practice.
