Cavendish Primary is a small, one-form entry in Chiswick. We are dynamic, ambitious and welcoming.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our dedicated team in our SEND Resource Provision for pupils with EHCPs where the primary identified need is learning and cognition.

Our SRP for KS1 opened in September 2025 in partnership with Oaklands School and in September 2026 we are expanding by creating a KS2 class. We have continued professional support from Oaklands. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed SEND practitioner to help shape a nurturing and inclusive provision at an exciting stage of its development. We warmly welcome you to visit our school so that you can see the provision and the whole school. For more information or to arrange a visit.

Our vision

At Cavendish, our values of belonging, kindness, curiosity, confidence and ambition permeate every aspect of school life. We believe that a sense of belonging is essential to nurturing positive relationships, fostering self-worth and enabling successful learning. Kindness is at the heart of everything we do, creating a safe and supportive environment where everyone feels valued and respected. We encourage curiosity, allowing our children to explore and discover new knowledge and ideas. This, in turn, builds confidence in their abilities and aspirations, and fosters a sense of ambition for their future. At Cavendish, we aim to provide a nurturing and inclusive community where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.

Our values

Belonging is fundamental in nurturing positive relationships, self-worth and enabling us to learn. Belonging also has a profound impact on our wellbeing, allows us to feel secure which enables us to trust, embrace change and challenge; this may be academically, socially or emotionally and can cultivate skills valuable throughout our lives.
