Duties as Primary School Teacher
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2
- Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
- Follow school policies, routines, and behaviour expectations
- Support pupils’ learning, engagement, and progress during lessons
- Adapt teaching approaches to suit different year groups and abilities
- Manage classroom behaviour confidently and consistently
- Provide feedback to class teachers or senior staff where required
- Uphold safeguarding, welfare, and health and safety responsibilities at all times
Ideal Primary School Teacher
- Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Flexible, reliable, and adaptable approach to supply work
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to engage and motivate pupils of varying abilities
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
