Further details about the role

Due to the promotion of our current English Lead, an exciting opportunity has arisen at Clifton Primary School for a passionate and ambitious teacher to join our team as a Year 6 Teacher with responsibility for UKS2 Phase Leadership and English across the school.

This role presents a unique opportunity to join Clifton at an exciting stage in its development. The UKS2 Phase Leader aspect of the role is new to Clifton, meaning the successful candidate will have the opportunity to help shape and develop leadership structures within Upper Key Stage 2, working closely with senior leaders to make a lasting impact.

We welcome applications from experienced Year 6 teachers, as well as strong classroom practitioners looking to take the next step into leadership. Importantly, if you are newer to Year 6, you will be supported by a highly experienced and knowledgeable leadership team with extensive Year 6 expertise. We pride ourselves on being a collaborative and supportive school, committed to developing staff at every stage of their career.

We warmly welcome prospective candidates to visit the school and see Clifton Primary in action. However, as this vacancy has arisen later in the academic year and the application window is shorter than usual, we understand that arranging a visit may not always be possible.

We are therefore also very happy to arrange an informal phone conversation with a member of the leadership team for candidates who would like to find out more about the role, the school and the opportunities available.

Please contact the school office to arrange either a visit or a phone call.
